Seth entered the Royal Rumble as #18 and got eliminated by his Shield brother Roman Reigns.

After Jason Jordan sustained an injury early in the bout, Seth Rollins was forced to go it alone against The Bar, who preyed upon The Kingslayer to capture the Raw Tag Team Titles for a fourth time.

Although Rollins went into the battle with some momentum over the challengers after eliminating Cesaro during the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match immediately preceding this title bout, The Bar kept The Kingslayer isolated in the early goings, preventing Jordan from officially entering the fray.

When a battered Rollins was finally in position to tag in his “gold-blooded” partner, The Swiss Superstar yanked Jordan off the apron and hurled him face-first into the steel ringpost, incapacitating Raw General Manager Kurt Angle’s son at ringside.

Despite The Architect’s best efforts, he was utterly dissected by The Swiss Cyborg and The Celtic Warrior, and he failed to mount any significant offense against The Bar save for some daring desperation maneuvers. Cesaro & Sheamus, meanwhile, took great pleasure in shutting down the fighting champion at every opportunity.

After Rollins managed to hit both challengers with a last-ditch double splash, a dazed Jordan tagged in and then quickly tagged out, seemingly unable and unwilling to compete due to lingering injury.

Sheamus hit Rollins with a pinpoint Brogue Kick, which was punctuated by a White Noise/DDT combination that sealed the win for The Bar and began their fourth reign with the red brand’s tandem titles.

At Royal Rumble 2018, Cesaro & Sheamus didn’t just set the bar, they… well, you know the rest.

Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan are the Raw Tag Team Champions, but they’re not quite a well-oiled machine just yet. That’s where Christian comes in. The nine-time Tag Team Champion convened a very special edition of “The Peep Show” to interview the titleholders. Jordan, however, was more interested in paying homage to the Superstars and Legends in attendance for Raw 25 than answering any of Captain Charisma’s questions.

That’s where The Bar came in. Cesaro & Sheamus quickly crashed the party and taunted Jordan with his father Kurt Angle’s “You Suck” chant, provoking a retaliatory strike from the young champion. Rollins quickly joined the fray, taking Sheamus out with a suicide dive while Jordan trapped Cesaro in position for Rollins’ springboard knee. The Swiss Cyborg writhed free at the last second, leaving Jordan to absorb the full force of The Kingslayer’s attack in a rare misstep by Rollins. With their Raw Tag Team Title defense just six days away, the champions can’t afford a miscommunication of any kind. If tonight is any indication, that may still be asking too much of them.

Again! After Cesaro & Sheamus suffered an upset loss to Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews last week, The Bar got a rematch looking to regain some ground in advance of their Raw Tag Team Title rematch against Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan at the Royal Rumble event. And for the second week in a row, Titus Worldwide claimed a win, though they do have Jason Jordan to thank for the assist.

The combination of Crews’ athleticism and O’Neil’s power had given Titus Worldwide an edge, though The Bar managed to battle back. They’d even learned from their mistakes, thwarting the same sequence that cost them the match last week. But right as they were about to execute a tandem maneuver to dispatch Crews, Jordan’s music hit, and Crews rolled up a distracted Sheamus for a win that left The Bar quite dismayed — to say nothing of Seth Rollins, who emerged atop the ramp to scold his partner for interfering in the match.

Jason Jordan is at it again. Not only did Kurt Angle’s son swing a loss for Cesaro & Sheamus, he talked his tag team partner Seth Rollins into a match against Finn Bálor to give The Architect a chance at payback from their defeat to The Bálor Club last week. For his part, Rollins didn’t mind what Jordan did so much as the way he did it, but his partner’s meddling proved to be as clutch as possible when it came to Rollins’ main-event clash with Raw’s resident Extraordinary Man.

In a semi-rematch of the first-ever Universal Title tilt (remember, Bálor was “The Demon” in that one), Rollins came out swinging, and Bálor answered, targeting The Kingslayer’s surgically-repaired knee in the hopes of rendering his offense one-dimensional. Rollins opted instead to battle through the pain, forcing Finn to fight from underneath.

With the match escalating to something of a dead heat, Rollins went big with a Frog Splash, and Cesaro & Sheamus emerged with punishment in mind for Jordan. Some clever maneuvering from the young champion led to a brawl between The Bar and the good brothers that Bálor thwarted with a soaring plancha. As Finn attempted to finish off Rollins, Jordan tripped Bálor up on the sly, and Rollins dug deep into his arsenal, planting Finn face-first into the mat for the victory with a move we’ve seen him use to win many big matches.

As Bálor staggered to his feet with Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson at his side, Rollins departed with a thrilling victory thanks in no small part to what his partner did, to say nothing of the way he did it.
