 The Architect

Seth Freaking Rollins!. He’s really freaking good. Did you know that he took the WWE World Heavyweight Title from Brock Lesnar? Or that he’s the only man to cash in a Money in the Bank contract in the main event of WrestleMania? Or that he’s the only human being to ever hold the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Championships simultaneously? If you don’t, worry not: He’ll tell you soon enough. And if you somehow manage to tune out his (justified) boasts, it won’t be long until this hybrid athlete’s skills in the ring turn you into a believer. A veteran of the independent scene who’s more ninja than wrestler, Rollins set up shop as one of WWE’s on-the-spot history makers from the second he walked in the door. From his reign as the first-ever NXT Champion to his vaunted time as the “Architect” of The Shield, Rollins’ first two years in WWE were a master class of evolution. Coincidentally enough, that’s the name of one of the factions he and his fellow Hounds of Justice managed to upend in their near-spotless two-year run throughout WWE’s ranks. He’s even better flying solo, racking up accolades faster than WWE can produce them. Within 15 months of The Shield’s breakup, Rollins had won a Money in the Bank contract and converted it into the WWE World Heavyweight Title and added John Cena’s U.S. Title to his trophy case. Is it even possible to hold this ascendant athlete down? If you’re lucky, but only for the short-term. As he’s fond of saying, Seth Rollins is the future, and the future can’t be stopped.

Seth Rollins will dare to step into the darkness and go head-to-head against Bray Wyatt when the two intense adversaries battle at the first-ever WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view on Sunday, July 9.

Wyatt considers himself a “god” and has set his mystical sights of Rollins, though he’ll get no worship from The Kingslayer, who toppled the would-be deity with a sacrifice dive from the top rope to the outside on the June 19 edition of Monday Night Raw – resulting in Rollins needing three stitches to close a gash on the side of his face.

The Eater of Worlds’ labyrinthine proclamations seem to have had no effect on Rollins, who has continued to label Wyatt a “coward.” Nevertheless, one week after their high-flying altercation, Wyatt made a calculated move of his own when he challenged the WWE 2K18 cover Superstar to a showdown at WWE Great Balls of Fire. The Eater of Worlds claimed the event would be the day of Rollins’ “reclamation” where he would either embrace what Wyatt claimed he really was or “burn.”

With these two fierce competitors preparing to do battle, will Rollins regret his so-called “blasphemy” toward his ominous foe? Or will it prove to be a scary outcome for The New Face of Fear? Find out this Sunday at 8 ET/5 PT at the inaugural WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.

Who will be the first Superstar to challenge The Beast? This is a question that will be answered in historically chaotic fashion.

At Extreme Rules, for the first time ever, in a battle that could change the course of the New Era, an Extreme Rules Fatal 5-Way Match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe to determine who will compete with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced the historic showdown on the May 15 edition of Monday Night Raw, and speculation is already running rampant as to who will emerge victorious and get the chance to tangle with The Beast for Raw’s top prize.

Though Reigns’ unbreakable determination helped him overcome The Undertaker at WrestleMania and put Braun Strowman on the shelf for six months, it remains to be seen whether The Big Dog will be able to simultaneously conquer four of the best Superstars in the business under such extreme circumstances.

In addition to the absolute bedlam that such a showdown promises, Rollins and Samoa Joe will both need to get past the enormous animosity that they have for one another in order to concentrate on the entire field of battle in this epic free-for-all.

Lest we forget that the first Universal Champion, Bálor, was never beaten for his title, but was instead forced to surrender it due to injury and is now hungry for an opportunity to challenge The Beast Incarnate.

And one must never count out Wyatt, arguably one of the most cunning competitors in the contest, who continues to show time and time again why he is The New Face of Fear by thriving in the very mayhem that the Fatal 5-Way Match will unleash.

Who will triumph in the Fatal 5-Way Match and become the first Superstar to attempt to conquer The Conqueror? Find out on June 4 at 8 ET/5 PT, steaming live on WWE Network.

Will Seth Rollins sign Triple H’s Hold Harmless Agreement?

Even though his doctors shudder at the thought, the recently injured Seth Rollins is set on coming to WrestleMania to settle the score with Triple H, the man who masterminded Samoa Joe’s assault on The Architect’s right knee back in January.

Because of that heinous ambush, Rollins was expected to miss this year’s WrestleMania entirely — and Triple H’s subsequent assault on the injured knee earlier this month only bolstered those doubts. Yet, in light of the WWE Universe’s continued support for The Architect, The Game has extended an offer to the would-be “Kingslayer”: If Rollins signs a Hold Harmless Agreement this coming Monday night, he will face The Cerebral Assassin in a Non-Sanctioned Match at WrestleMania.

Should Rollins sign the document, neither Triple H nor WWE will be legally responsible for what happens to the recovering Superstar. Is Rollins willing to risk it all for the chance at retribution against The King of Kings? We’ll find out on Raw.

Seth Rollins addresses his injury

Save for posting a series of “Fight Club” quotes on Instagram for the past few Monday nights, Seth Rollins has been relatively quiet concerning his condition following Samoa Joe’s ambush that tore The Architect’s right MCL.

At this point, it seems unlikely that Rollins will be able to compete at this year’s WrestleMania. That would mean that the former WWE Champion will miss his second consecutive Show of Shows, this time thanks to Triple H’s “Destroyer.” Will Rollins confirm this unfortunate news, or will he have another message entirely for The Cerebral Assassin and The Samoan Submission Specialist?

As their rivalry continues to barrel out of control, Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho are set to face off one-on-one at the next Raw-exclusive pay-per-view, Roadblock: End of the Line, on Sunday, Dec. 18.

The hostility between The Architect and the keeper of The List of Jericho has escalated steadily week after week. Barbs like “sparkle crotch” now seem a distant memory given the recent acts of hostility between the two.

Jericho cost Rollins a pivotal WWE Universal Championship Match against Kevin Owens, stymying Rollins’ quest to reclaim the title that he lost under controversial circumstances in the first place. The Architect repaid the intrusion on the Nov. 28 edition of Raw, attacking Jericho in a parking garage and capping off a brutal brawl by Pedigreeing the scarfed Superstar on the roof of a car.

At Roadblock: End of the Line, the former World Champions will settle the score inside the ring. Will “The Gift of Jericho” prove overwhelming for Rollins, or can the dynamic Architect fight his way back toward the WWE Universal Championship?

Don’t miss Roadblock: End of the Line, airing live on WWE Network Sunday, Dec. 18, at 8 ET/5 PT.

WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens will defend Raw’s most coveted title against Seth Rollins in a highly-anticipated rematch at WWE Hell in a Cell on Sunday, Oct. 30, live on the award-winning WWE Network. What will go down when these two heated rivals go head-to-head on WWE’s most hellacious night of the year?

The Architect has appeared to be a man possessed recently in his quest to win the WWE Universal Title, defying authority’s orders and going on the attack against KO and anyone in his way. Despite being hell-bent on once again becoming the champion, Rollins has been met with obstacle after obstacle. Whether it’s Owens himself, KO’s best buddy Chris Jericho, WWE COO Triple H or Raw’s authority duo of Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley, the No. 1 contender has been met with resistance at every turn.

Despite these hurdles, Rollins will get another chance to overcome WWE’s prizefighter at the notoriously brutal Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event, which just happens to be taking place on the eve of Halloween. On a night known for mischief, will the WWE Universe witness another controversial ending to a WWE Universal Championship Match?

For as badly as Rollins wants to win Raw’s top title, Owens has just as much desire to hold onto the championship. And, the Canadian grappler clearly has a number of supporters. Since winning the WWE Universal Championship, Owens has shown a knack for evading danger. But, will he be able to survive another battle against Rollins with his coveted championship in tow?

Don’t miss this huge rematch for the WWE Universal Championship between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, live on WWE Network, on Sunday, Oct. 30, at Hell in a Cell.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins (Triple Threat Match)

Two years removed from the unforgettable rupture of The Shield, newly crowned WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose faces his fellow former Hounds of Justice Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Battleground.

A three-way showdown among Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns seemed inevitable from the moment Rollins stabbed his brothers in the back, dissolving the once-dominant faction. Less expected was that it would be The Lunatic Fringe sitting in the catbird position as defending champion. Yet, Ambrose earned that accolade at WWE Money in the Bank, winning the event’s namesake match and cashing in his guaranteed championship match contract that same night against Rollins, who himself had just pinned Reigns to regain the title.

The cyclonic turn of events turned WWE on its head and underscored what everyone already knew: Competition among the former Shield allies runs deep and is full of parity.

So evenly matched are the Superstars that a single No. 1 contender could not be named the following night on Raw, when The Big Dog and The Architect jockeyed for the right to challenge Ambrose. As the thrilling match reached its crescendo, Reigns Speared Rollins onto the Spanish announce table and neither Superstar could beat the referee’s 10-count.

Even though no decisive winner was declared, Ambrose proved himself to be a fighting champion right away, volunteering to take on both Reigns and Rollins on Sunday, July 24.

With that, the table is now set for one of the most anticipated WWE World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Matches of all time. Which ex-Hound of Justice will prove his supremacy at WWE Battleground? Will it be the rebuilt and redesigned Architect, eager to win back the title he trained so hard to reclaim, only to lose it moments later? Will The Big Dog use his punishing strength to dismantle both friend (Ambrose) and foe (Rollins)? Or might the match’s Lunatic Fringe remind those who know him best just how dangerous he can be?

Watch the Shield showdown that has been years in the making when WWE Battleground airs live on the award-winning WWE Network Sunday, July 24, at 8 ET/5 PT.

Roman Reigns will finally get another opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when he challenges Seth Rollins at Survivor Series on Sunday, Nov. 22.

The Big Dog has had eight months to replay the final moments of WrestleMania 31 in his head. Reigns was seemingly on the verge of conquering Brock Lesnar and capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, until Seth Rollins stole his WrestleMania moment — and the title — by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and going on to pin Reigns.

Ever since The Show of Shows came to a close, Reigns has been clawing to get back into the title picture. Last June, he had his hands on the Money in the Bank contract and a guaranteed WWE World Heavyweight Title Match, only for Bray Wyatt to foil his championship dreams. The Juggernaut was then sidetracked from the title picture while trying to vanquish The Eater of Worlds. He brought his rivalry with Wyatt to a brutal end inside Hell in a Cell, before turning his attention back to Rollins and WWE’s top prize.

While Reigns was preoccupied with Wyatt, Rollins was busy trying to prove himself to The Authority and create his legacy as one of the greatest champions in WWE history. Though many have doubted Rollins’ mettle as champion, there’s no doubting his record, which includes wins over Dean Ambrose, Demon Kane, Sting and John Cena.

Despite his Hell in a Cell victory, Reigns still had to earn his way back into becoming the No. 1 contender. On the Oct. 26 edition of Raw, The Big Dog defeated Kofi Kingston to advance to a Fatal 4-Way Match, where he bested Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, United States Champion Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler to get his long-awaited title opportunity.

After winning the No. 1 contendership, Reigns engaged in a tense ringside staredown Rollins, his one-time brother in The Shield. Rollins held his title high, while Reigns responded with a confident smile.

Who will walk out of Survivor Series with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? Find out Sunday, Nov. 22, at 8 ET/5 PT, live on the award-winning WWE Network!
